The PADI Divemaster certification is the first level of professional certification. As a certified PADI Divemaster, you can work in the dive industry or coordinate dive expeditions of your own.
Divemasters who are working in the industry often assist instructors with courses and student divers, as well as guide certified divers on dives. Your responsibilities also include filling tanks, loading guests’ gear onto boats, setting up equipment for customers, checking in divers, giving boat and dive site briefings, and ensuring customers are well-informed, safe, and happy.

Theoretical Knowledge Development
The course covers dive theory, diving physics, physiology, equipment, decompression theory, and the environment. Candidates undergo comprehensive training to develop a solid understanding of these fundamental aspects.

Water Skills
Throughout your Divemaster program you will need to complete five waterskills exercises, earning a combined score of at least 15. These exercises consist of:
Exercise 1: 400 Meters Swim
Exercise 2: 15-minute Tread
Exercise 3: 800 Meters Swim
Exercise 4: 100 Meters Diver Tow

Practical Application, Leadership and Supervision
As part of the course, candidates enhance their scuba diving skills to demonstration quality, ensuring they are capable of demonstrating skills for student divers.
Participants learn how to supervise dive activities and assist with the organization and execution of diving operations. This involves guiding certified divers and assisting with student diver training.
PADI Divemaster
