Prerequisites

Students must have their PADI (Junior) Open Water completed (or a comparable certification from a another recognised dive organisation)

To participate you must be 15 years of age.

Confidence in the water and good physical health

Any health conditions must be highlighted to your dive instructor prior to entering the water

Structure

Day 1

Orientation & Knowledge Development
Wreck diver training dives 1 & 2

Dive 1 Navigate Wreck

Dive 2 Mapping the Wreck

Day 2

Wreck diver training dives 3 & 4

Before Dive 3 Land Practice.You will carry a flashlight together with your safety line and practice tying knots and using the lines for communication with your buddy.

Dive 3

Safe Line Pulling Work Outside the Wreck

Dive 4

You have the option of entering the wreck after planning it together with your Instructor

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, you'll be certified as a PADI Wreck Diver, allowing you to explore wrecks up to your training level with confident.

Can I enter any wreck after completing the course?

Wreck penetration is only recommended for trained and certified divers. You'll learn safe penetration techniques in the course, but not all wrecks are suitable for entry.
